About Us | Clarke Talbot Renewable Energy Ltd

Receive up to £7,500 Towards a Heat Pump Installation

Making the switch to a low-carbon heating system has never been more affordable. The UK Government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) provides eligible homeowners and property owners in England and Wales with a grant of up to £7,500 towards the installation of a heat pump, helping to reduce the upfront cost of moving away from traditional fossil fuel heating.

Whether you’re replacing an ageing gas, oil or LPG boiler, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme can make investing in renewable heating a far more accessible option while helping to future-proof your property against rising energy costs and changing environmental regulations.

At Nuenta Clarke Talbot, we are MCS-certified heat pump specialists and can guide you through the entire process, including applying for the grant on your behalf. In most cases, the grant is deducted directly from your installation cost, meaning you benefit from the funding without having to navigate the application process yourself.

  • £2,500 towards an Air Source Heat Pump (Air-to-air)
  • £7,500 towards a Ground Source Heat Pump
  • £9,000 off the cost and installation of air-to-water or ground source heat pumps in eligible off-gas grid properties (available from 21 July 2026 until 31 March 2027)

Who Can Apply?

The scheme is available to many homeowners and landlords in England and Wales who are replacing an existing fossil fuel or direct electric heating system with an eligible low-carbon alternative. Typical requirements include:

  • The property must be located in England or Wales.
  • The installation must be completed by an MCS-certified installer.
  • The property must have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
  • The existing heating system must be eligible under the scheme rules.

Our team can assess your property’s eligibility and advise on the most suitable heat pump solution for your home.

Why Consider a Heat Pump?

Heat pumps provide an energy-efficient alternative to conventional heating systems, offering:

  • Lower carbon emissions
  • Reduced reliance on fossil fuels
  • Consistent, comfortable heating
  • Potential long-term energy savings
  • Greater protection against future changes in energy policy

Combined with the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, a heat pump can be a cost-effective investment in the future of your property.
